1. Immediate family members or persons living in the same household of a sponsoring producer will be ineligible to show in the jackpot. This includes grandchildren.

2. All eligible goats must have been purchased directly from a participating producer.

3. All eligible goats will have been raised by the sponsoring producer. (Absolutely no trader goats or validation of goats raised by a non-participating producer.)

4. All eligible goats will be tag-validated. The Validation Committee will make the final decision on how goats will be validated.

5. Unethical feeding and/or fitting practices is strictly prohibited by the Oklahoma Coalition Jackpot Show.

6. Goats must be purchased prior to OYE nomination deadline.

7. Exhibitors must be a bona-fide 4-H or FFA member. Exhibitor must be eligible to show according to their school’s academic standing.

8. Wethers as well as doe kids are eligible to show. No bucks allowed.

9. Wethers must be dehorned.

10. All entries will be subject to random drug testing.

The Oklahoma Coalition Jackpot Show reserves the right to collect urine samples for laboratory analysis on any animal entered in the show. The conclusions reached as a result of said test shall be final and conclusive without recourse against the Oklahoma Coalition Jackpot Show or any officer, director, or member thereof or any veterinarian as appointed by membership. The exhibitor waves any right of action which he or she might have for any action taken under this rule and release the Oklahoma Coalition Jackpot Show and the veterinarian from any and all claims or demands whatsoever in the connection with the testing of any animal by reason of conclusion of samples submitted. The exhibitor (or an animal testing positive for any “performance enhancing” drug, chemical or feed additive) will forfeit any money, premiums, or prizes to be awarded. In addition, the exhibitor will forfeit all rights and privileges to exhibit livestock in any future Oklahoma Coalition Jackpot Shows.

All exhibitors entering the show, by paying entry money and presenting entry weight cards to the Oklahoma Coalition Jackpot Show, in doing so, agrees to the conditions set forth above.

11. There will be no weight limit.

12. There will be a five pound weigh back. Weigh back will be random.

13. Current entry fee is $25

14. Late entries will be accepted the day of the show. Late entry fee is $35

15. All entries MUST have a validation tag.

16. All cards must be turned in by 9:00 a.m.

17. Show will begin at 10:00 a.m.

18. Each exhibitor is responsible for their own animal bedding.

19. Exhibitors shall be responsible for all of the security, safety and care of their animal.

20. A showmanship contest will be held before the jackpot. There will be two divisions—Division I--ages 13 and down Division II-ages 14 to 19. Age is determined by age on the day of the showmanship show.

21. There will be a $10 showmanship entry fee. Only eligible goats may be used in showmanship contest.

22. The Oklahoma Coalition Jackpot Show reserves the right to refuse any entry.

23. There is a $150 NON-refundable protest fee. All protests must be filed with Protest Chairman.
